![]() ![]() One way to back up the Manifest files is to copy them into PM-DAZ’s Product Data folder, where they will be stored inside each products own folder. As always, back up the files to another drive than the one they are on, otherwise you will lose both the original files and the backup if the drive dies. If you lose them neither DIM or PM-DAZ will work correctly. ![]() dsx files in that folder to keep track of what is installed, and PM-DAZ is using them also to locate your products in DS. NOTE: It’s highly recommended that you back up the ManifestFiles folder as DIM uses the. This can be useful if for example the shortest path for the selected product is “People/Genesis 8 Female/Characters” but you want to load the Genesis 8 Female base figure from the “People/Genesis 8 Female” folder before jumping to the selected character in the library. ![]() By default you cannot go lower than the shortest path, but if you want to, just hit Ctrl once while the numeric box is selected. This range includes the paths that actually contains files or preset for the selected product. The number to the left of the numeric box shows the number of folders in the shortest path listed, the one to the right the number of folders in the longest path. Folder Levels With the Folder Levels feature you can adjust the level of subfolders you want to be shown by changing the number in the numeric box, sometimes that can be useful to access specific otherwise inaccessible folders in long paths (paths will by default not be included if they only contain subfolders, and no files).
